Passport Editor is per default located at the bottom centre of the workspace together with two other tabs: Lemmatizer and HTW. It contains the metadata of lemmata. It is divided into different tabs. In the case of the Lemma view these tabs are: Main, Relations, IDs, Definition, Bibliography, Lemma plus the toolbar. The toolbar will be explained first.

Clicking 
opens the Menu containing the following entries:
- Inherit Passport Data: This function can also be triggered by clicking on
. It transfers the
data from a higher level lemma to a lower level (root entry to child entry).
- Inherit Overwrite Passport Data: This option overwrites passport data if it has already been entered
