The Thesaurus view can be activated by clicking the 
"Thesaurus" icon in
the Toolbar. Thesaurus contains a
uniform terminology, which is used for the database object's metadata (also called
"passport data"). New entries can be added here as well. Any user can see the contents
of the Thesaurus view, although the ability to modify them is restricted by the relevant
user role.
The three windows from left to right are: Thesaurus Navigator, Passport Data Editor, Annotations.
